Fuel guage fluctuates truck seems to lack fuel and sputters

I have a 1993 ford f250 i think its a 7.1 or 7.3 letter gas. and the fuel guage just started to fluctuate. the truck seems to lack fuel and dies it starts back up again and same thing happends

    i changed the electronic fuel pump a few mounths ago its located in the tank

You may have a bad fuel pump or a bad injection pump,here are picture of the two, as far as the gauge you may have a bad fuel sending unit, this is in the tank and work like a toilet float and sends a signal to the gauge, the injection pump and fuel pump are located on top of motor you would need to have the preasure checked on both before just replace them hope this is helpful.fuel guage fluctuates truck seems to lack fuel and - 31a2121.jpg

1986 Ford f250 stumbles

You would need to figure out if the problem is too much air or not enough fuel.
The carb has three internal circuits - - idle, cruise, and accelerate.
Fuel flows thru each circuit from the bowl to the venturi.
You could have a vac leak that is allowing too much air to enter the intake, or the idle circuit on the carb may not be adjusted correctly after the engine warms up.
Or it could be something else.

Yes that is possible. Did you try and hook up lines together that go into the valve to see if it would run. Also check to see if there is fuel to injectors.

Sounds like the rear fuel pump in the tank is not working and the float or sender is bad also. check to see if the rear pump is working should make a humming noise.
