91' Honda Accord sedan, car turns but won't stay running. Can turn over and over again without firing, then it starts! hot or cold same problem.
Dash lights don't come on in start position, only when turning over. Also when depressing brake when in park, there is a clicking sound in car under dash it sounds like.
Check fuel pump fuse and all other fuses, check brake switch, Also, a worn ignition switch will cause the car to start sometimes but not always. Try turning the switch to on position, then jiggle the key around in the switch while pushing in a bit...now start the car...did it start? If yes, replace switch and/or key cylinder....

It sounds like, maybe during the stereo installation, that a fuse was blown. It is a common problem. Check your fuse that runs to your instrument panel. If this is blown, replace it with fuse w/ same voltage. Hope this was helpful... Please take a second to rate how helpful this suggestion was. Thanks and good luck!

Sounds like you need a new shifter cable, they tend to gum up over time.

Main Relay causing the ticking sound under dash. Also, could cause the other problem too.
