I need to replace the left rear seatbelt in my VW Jetta my10, how do I go about it?

all the jetta rear seats and seat belt parts
look the same sort of set up

fiddly job
back seat section or sections out
have to remove some plastics
to get to the retractable part of the belt ....looks like it is
under or mounted on the rear parcel shelf
undo the floor mount

then re thread and bolt the new seat belt in (pictured)

then replace the seats

There is moisture and water build up on my floor boards and under my back seats when i folded them down i noticed(the part that you sit on, not the part your back rests on)

If you car equipped with sunroof check the 2 hoses connected to the sunroof mechanism if the they off, but you have to remove the the head liner down, or check you sunroof rubber molding, and your doors rubber molding as well .

'97 Jetta rear seat back doesn't fold.

find bolts under the front of the seat itself. remove this seat and you will see 2 more bolts at the base of the back of seat part. remove these and normally the back part lift off some retaining clips. Replace in reverse order

My 96 jetta 2.0 is leaking oil from the top of the oil filter mounting area where the water hoses connect to it.it looks like it has two or three pieces bolted together might be plastic.can I take apart...

The oil is most likely leaking from the oil cooler seal. The oil cooler is the square aluminum piece that the oil filter screws onto. To replace the seal, remove the filter, remove both coolant hoses that attach to the cooler, remove the nut that secures the cooler to the block and slide the cooler off the tube. Replace the rubber o-ring seal which is available at the VW dealer. It's inexpensive. Replace everything in reverse order. Good luck

How to remove interior back dash on 2006 hyundai sonata

The shop manual does not illustrate the procedure for removing the rear package deck (back dash). This will be a lengthy description for removing this deck
1. Remove the rear seat bottom (2 12mm bolts located in between the seams at the seat back and the seat bottom (lower the seat backs and you'll have to feel for them). Remove them
2. Remove the seat bottom (two spring loaded clips at the front of the seat bottom).
3. Remove the 12 mm bolts at the bottom of both LH & RH shoulder cushions. Lift UP and then forward (careful you don't break the should cushion clips at the back of the cushions).
4. Using a small screwdriver, remove the SRS caps at the C-Pillar moldings (behind them are either two phillips head screws or 10mm bolts) - remove them
5. Remove the C-Pillar moldings -- they are 'Clipped' into position (use a flashlight to locate them and a long shaft plane screwdriver to help 'unclip' them).

ff32eaf.jpg lower the seat backs down. Note the trunk accessway side moldings (approximately 8 to 10 phillips head screws) remove them and the accessway moldings (you can'r remove the deck unless you remove these accessway moldings).
6. Find the plastic clips which hold the rear deck in place (usually yellow or blue)

Now, depending on what you want to do now... it's up to you.
Reassembly is in reverse order.

Passenger seat 2006 vw jetta

I don't remember which knob adjusts that area for the seat but if it's like the one I used to own, much older model, it had a turn knob on the side of the back rest that you had to actually turn to get it to do that recline position. Look at your seat and see if it has a large knob on the side of the back rest and if it does, turn it until the seat reclines. I think it does. but not sure. if it doesn't then look on the side of the seat by the door for a lever there to see if that is the lever to make the seat recline. Vw has more than one knob most of the time. you can also check your owner's manual for seat adjusting and it should tell you something.
