too many possibilities. IE: fuel pump relay, ignition relay, Coils, wiring failure, bad starter, fuel pump, fuel filter. The list goes on and on. A local GM experienced mechanic can eliminate most of these within minutes with an inspection.
U have an intermittent electrical connection causing the hassle. Check and clean all wiring junctions, etc. Also work the connections by sliding them in and out many times to remove any oxidation. U have to remember that a car's electrical system is low voltage and the slightest bit of corrosion can screw things up - example is dirty battery terminal wires with a new battery. Car will not crank but clean the terminals and away you go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get a piece of tape,cover light and don't replace dash,for a light,what happens when you put a new dash in and it still does it,it's not the dash,your switches at doors,may be bad,check there to fuse box.Could be the wiring.
the shock sensor is mounted under the dash and is sometimes part of alarm box or separate unit, look for module under the dash and trace wires, it separate box it is often tie wrapped of a set screw, box it 1x1 to 2x2 box usually 3 wires, often attached to steering column or metal strut
sounds like clutch switch, Check under dash follow clutch pedal up and see if there is a switch under dash, should be Purple wires going to it Heavy gauge wires, need to unplug it and put a jumper in from one side to other and cover with tape so it doesen't touch and ground out and blow a fuse, then see if it will start and if it took care of your problem, if so replace switch
dodge codes of this era were 2 number codes not single number codes.recheck your codes flashing on the dash,or with what ever tool your using.there should be a flash close together then a short break then more flashes close together then a longer pause before the next code flashes.cont the flashes that are close together that is one number of the code then after the short pause count the next number of flashes this is the second half of the code.then a new code flashes after the long pause.so if the first code flashes once then after short pause it flashes twice this is a code 12.then a new code flashes after the longer flash,but always a 2 number code.also be aware that dodge uses a code 12 to indicate the start of the code sequence and a code 55 indicates the end of the code sequence.thats why its better to use a scan tool to see what codes are in the computer as sometimes a flash is missed or not counted.
there are two fuse panels check the fuses on the drivers side of the dash board where the drivers door covers when closed there is a fuse panel under the hood in the engine compartment as well sometimes its hard to see the blown section of the fuse use a test light and touch each side of the fuse if it lights on one side and not the other the fuse is popped you will want to fix the short before slipping in the new fuse always replace with the proper amperage a larger fuse could burn up the wiring harness good luck
definately electrical connection problem.wiggle fuse box and wires w/ car on in park to see if problem occurs.Check ground wire connections under dash and on other side of firewall/bulkhead.Sometimes ground posts corrode or loosen.An exposed +wire may be bumping or touching metal.You'll have to carefully move wires around under dash untill you see the problem occur
you can check the small button that the brake pedal pushes against when you push the brake sometimes this switch gets stuck in and does not let the brake lights come on its under the dash above the brake pedal it has two wires on it take them off and touch the two wires together and the lights should come on if they do the switch is faulty bestaluck glenn.......
