Hi,
The TCM on the 9-5 Aero is located behind the glove compartment.
Remove the under panel on the passenger side, and look up behind the glove compartment - the TCM is clipped onto the bulkhead.
Please remember to dicobbect the battery BEFORE removing the module.
Total time to replace the module - 10 mins!
Good luck

Saab 9-3 Aero convertible 2006 model coming up with message "Coolant level low please refill" Which coolant do I need to buy and the price and can I do it my self? How do I locate the correct...

Most probably is a leak somewhere, the sensor in the reservoir picks up when the level is low as to prevent engine damage. I would get it checked out. when repairing the water leak they should automaticly replace the coolant so i would just top it up with normal tap water till then. be carefull the water can burn you, so only open the bottle once the car is cold.

sorry to hear that mate, your slave cylinder has gone, you will need a replacement and more than likely a clutch as well if any fluid has contaminated the clutchplate, aero clutch is around

Want to locate starter

Follow the positive cable from your battery.  The path is Battery - Starter - Alternator. On the back of the motor. the positive connection can sometimes be an issue with corrosion.

Trying to find thermostat on a 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero turbo

Most thermostats are located at the engine end of the upper rad hose. Rarely some thermostats are at the engine end of the lower rad hose but unlikely. Certain VW's have that distinction.Let me know if this helps.Moe
