My horn went out on my 06 Nissan Murano (when I was honking like everyone else in the neighborhood to celebrate the Saints superbowl win). I'm hoping it's just a fuse, but the diagram on both fuse boxes does not say anything about the horn. Suggestions?
The horn doesn't use a fuse, instead it used a relay which is the large square black box you see in your fuse box. There should be one for your horn, blower motor (the blower that pushes the heat out the vents in your car) and a few other things.
Easiest way to see if it has gone bad is to switch the horn and blower motor relay and then try and use the horn and blower motor. If the horn works and the blower motor doesn't then you have a bad relay. You can go to any auto parts store and they will have them in stock.
