How easy is it to remove a steering wheel for a Mitsubishi 2003 shogun sport 2.5D? There's a small rattle/vibration (during cold weather only) turning the wheel quickly (getting out of a parking space..) - somebody mentioned the clock spring......??? Many thanx Dave

try spraying some armor all where wheel meets the column covers

You have to locate the cable between the heater core box and dash control knob most likely it is hung up someplace in between if you can straighten it out it will give you more cable length also look to see there may be a loose spring that need to be reattached.
wear safety glasses and get a good light you will need screw drivers needle nose pliers snap ties to hold cable in place

if there is no switch and it doesn't have the second generation smart airbag system (there is a weight sensor in the passenger seat) you can't turn it off, refer to your owners manual on this.

if the shift is being made and the car is in gear it will not change ,in some cases it is necesary to reverse a few times to allow shifts to occur if this still fails you could have a sticky solonoid ,these are mounted on the r/f inner guard there are two of the next to each other make sure there is vacume at the solonoids as the car will allways fail in 4wd mode it requires vacume to allow it to disengage the front diff on start up,that is why there is a grinding noise if you switch off the motor and free wheel to a stop the front diff tries to engage
