2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS V6 3.0L Cylinder 3 Misfire

I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS V6 3.0L with 54K on it. I don't drive it during the winter it sits in my parents barn. I just took it out yesterday and when I started it the check engine light came on. I had started it 2 weeks prior to that and let it run for about an hour and no check engine light came on. I went to Autozone where they plugged my car in and it came back with Misfire Cylinder 3. They told me it probably needs plugs and wires. The car isnt running any differently then it did when I drove it last year. It still takes right off doesnt make any werid noises no engine skip no nothing. What could be causeing it to read misfire cylinder 3. Is it possible that it just had bad fuel go through the system from sitting and to try and put some fuel injector cleaner through it.

Anything is possible but if you want to know if #3 is really misfiring and hurting the performance try pulling the plug wire to cylinder # 3 with the engine off (so you don't get shocked) Now start the care and see how it runs. If it runs the same then #3 is really bad. In that case imagine how much better it would run if #3 was up and operating correctly.

I HAVE A 1998 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE THAT AT TIMES DOESNT WANT TO START. CHECK ENGIN CODE: P00300-P00304 (CYLINDER MISFIRE, MISFIRE ON CYLINDERS 1-4)

It could be your Cadillac converter. I had the same problem with a 2006 eclipse, driving it it would stop off it i didn't have my foot on the gas, i replaced the converter and the mass air flow sensor and it fired right up and drove fine.

Where in the Bank 1 Sensor 1 located on a GTS Eclipse

It's the first O2 sensor that's in front of the catalytic converter. If it's a V6 car, it will be the one that's on the same side as cylinder #1.

4th cylinder misfire in '96 eclipse rs(5 speed if it makes a dif)

There may be a problem with the coil pack causing this misfire or the timing is off enough to cause late or early firing of the plug.
