Yyou can't diagnose issues like this yourself. You need more that a $125 scan tool. You need an auto electrician with a $5,000 bi-directional scan tool computer and the experience to use it. This is all electronics and computer networks and can't be guessed.
P2127 DodgeThe P2127 code means that the throttle or pedal position sensor switch E has a low input. The pedal position sensor is a sensor found on the gas pedal. The sensor tells the ECU when the gas pedal is depressed and how far it is depressed.
oxygen sensors buddy, and there is two of them. one above the engine and under. you have to cut it enough to where you can splice and re wire another sensor on.
Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes reconnect the battery then start the car and put it into the D postion with your for on the brake for 30 seconds then while still holding the brake put the car the N postion for 30 seconds still holding the brake now put the car back into the D postion for 30 seconds then put the car into the PARK postion and shut it off. Wait 10 second then start it and take it for for a test drive. Make sure the a/c is off and the radio,wipers are off while doing this procedure. This is called an adaptive relearn.
Sounds like you may have a leaky fuel injector thats dripping fuel into your intake overnight, hook a fuel pressure gauge up to your fuel line assembly then observe the bleed down of the fuel pressure if the bleed down is out of spec the problem is more then likely a leaky fuel injector causing a rich condition at start up thats why you have to hold the engine at 3,000 rpms to clear out all the raw unburned fuel that has leaked into the intake assembly.....
Concerning the heater problem.Sounds like you have an air pocket in the system.To remove the air pocket take off the radiator cap in the morning when the car is cold,fill radiator to top.Start the car.Turn on heater to high.Allow car to run until it gets to operating temperature.Now you will see the fluid in the radiator start to go down.This means the thermostat is opening.As fluid goes down fill radiator to top (with 50/50 antifreeze/water mix).You may have to wait a moment for it to continue to move down.Once it stops and the radiator fluid isnt going down,slowly bring up the rpm's (by either turning the throttle with your hand or have someone put their foot on the gas) to about 2000rpms and hold the rpm's there steady.As you hold the fluid will go down a little more.As it does fill to the top again and quickly put the radiator cap back on while the rpm's are steady at 2000.After the cap is correctly on release throttle.This should remove the air posket.
i'am no expert on this car, but i would chk. the T.P.S. (throutle positioning sensor) there also may be carbon build up on throutle butterfly, not letting it close completely when you take your foot off the pedel.
turn up your ile (rpm's) or your fuel filter is going bad, and it is not getting fuel which causes it to stall.
Most likely problem is dirt in the idle jets. If so, your carb needs a bit of a cleaning.
As a temporary workaround, crack the gas open just a bit with your foot (so it idles at 1,000 rpm or so) as you brake to a stop, then hold your foot on the gas to keep it alive. This is an iffy proposition though, since you'd have to brake with your untrained LEFT foot.
