1997 pyzar 1.5 ac full of gas but ac wont work

Hopefully you know about A/C/ systems. The system is low on refrigerant and the clutch on the compressor won't engage to keep it from burning up. The best way to do it is to have the system evacuated, checked for leaks and repaired. At that time, while holding a vacuum, You can add refrigerant to the system enough for the compressor to come on for you to finish filling the system.Be careful!!!

there is a high pressure switch in the ac system that cuts power to the compressor when a high pressure situation is recorded
it is there to prevent compressor damage from when the gas is converting to liquid in the compressor
That occurs because the condenser fan is not operating to remove heat from the condenser
so check that the condenser fan ( in front of the condenser ) is working and check that the system is not over full with gas

your starter may be not able to carry a full load but can still test good had that happen to me on a different car once

A mechanic would check to see if the system is full of freon, then check for voltage at the relay, the low pressure switch, and the ac clutch.

1997 Daihatsu Pyzar starter motor located bottom of engine bay at the back between engine and framework below front window of car

Very tight space and to remove both starter motor bolts, you need to access it from above engine and below engine


- Disconnect battery connections from battery first

- Disconnect wire from starter motor

- Remove starter motor bolts

- Remove starter motor via top of engine (lots of jiggling involved due to wires in the way etc)

May need new fuel pump assembly has fuel level built onto it. Only way to fix.

i would say your ac is low on gas, [plain and simple]but if your switch is not working then the a/c wont work.adrian;;;;
