I don't have this problem yet but however it sounds like the control board has detected an issue possibly related to a sensor somewhere. Just guessing.

My Maint Req light is blinking when I turn the car on. What does this mean?

There are manufacturer recomended service/maintence requirements at
certain mileage intervals. These are programed into the cars computer.
The light is to remind you, that you have reached or close to one of these intervals. There should be a maint. schedule with the owners
manual, that describes the type of service required, at your mileage.
If you just want to turn off the light. Stop by any major parts store and
they will clear the code. Usually for free. Hope this helps.
