First disconnect the fuel lines but be carefull their might be some pressure in the line. your supposed to use a special tool that fits over the black ring that goes around the top but you can use a big screwdriver and a hammer jus tap the black ring anti clockwise untill you can use your hand to unscrew it.

Every time I refill my Renault Clio the auto shut off on the fuel nozzle clicks off making it a long procedure to refill the car

Do you always go to the same pump? Some are more sensitive to others. But they are designed to prevent spillage, so will turn off when they sense back pressure. Maybe you could try filling slower. If that doesn't help, it is possible that there is an obstruction or damage to the filler pipe of your car - get your service garage to look at it.

I have a renault clio 1999 T Reg. The problem started yesterday when I was starting the car. It was starting but cutting out almost straight......its as if its an electrical cut out. As if its being told...

The car is spinning faster because the battery charged itself since it hasn't been drove. Check all your fuses first. Ignition fuses and fuel pump fuse. Make sure the fuel pump is kicking on. You should hear a buzzing sound when you first turn the key for a second or two. Put your head in the back seat. If it is not kicking on, this could be the problem. You can spray gas in the carborator to tell to. Start your car and see if it starts. If it starts, then dies, it is fuel related. Either pump, filter, injectors, fuel rail. Make sure your spark plug wires are all connected and in good shape. Check the timing belt. You can check this by removing the front protection cover. Make sure the belt is good and there is no teeth missing. Write me back when you check this or you have a question. I am here to help my friend in any way I can.

Removing seat fitted with airbag from a 2001 Renault Clio

It is best that you disconnect the negative battery terminal while disconnecting & removing or reinstalling the seat.

Be sure to ground yourself by touching metal when going to unplug any harness in a computer controlled vehicle to prevent static discharge. (the airbag is connected throught the harness you are removing and any spark that would hit that wire, could trigger the airbag to deploy)
good luck
