I have a 2010 isuzu D-max after I change the airfillter the engine light came on. How can I reset the ECM

no country told and ECU is smog regulated part.

have the fault codes read and fix the fault that put the ECM in limp mode
reset the ECM on completion of repairs

change bulb first

use a scan tool to reset the Immobilizer and ECM
if you fitted a 12 volt alternator it is not too big for the battery but you have a faulty voltage regulator which was probably your original fault
What modifications that you can do unless you wired it wrong and allowed uncontrolled voltage to the ECM which would now be toast

try the "tap test" on the ecm. After closed loop,just lightly tap on the computer,you may see it change or stall.Mine did that and the ecm was bad.

ECM fuese are located in the fusebox in the engine compartment-left sidefacing the vehicle.
