Sounds to me like you have a freeze plug leaking if it is coming from where the transmission and the engine mount together behind the bell housing there are 2 plugs that sometimes develop a small leak and eventually gets worse but it could also be a small hose on the top of the engine so check the hoses first
Fill your coolant system completely full. use water, no use using antifreeze if it's just going to leak out. start the engine and run it until it reaches operating temperature. keep your eye on the area where the leak is. the heater hoses that go into the heater core are my guess. located on the firewall. you can also have the system pressure tested. for 15-20 dollars. but once the truck is heated up, there will be sufficient pressure to locate the leak.
That would be your heater box overflow making that drip on the transmission, which indicates that you have a leak in your heater core. Try disconnecting the hoses to your firewall which connect to your heater core and either blocking them or joining them together to see if the leak stops. If it does, you can leave them that way until you can get to your heater core and replace it.
