Maybe the bearing in the blower motor, or the fan on the motor is broken, causing it to vibrate or rattle. Also, something be have gotten into the blower motor housing. I found a mouse in one.

AC Heater

It sound like the blower wheel of the blower motor is rubbing the inside of the housing (the smoke). Sounds like the blower wheel rubbing may have burned the inner plastic housing or has come off of the motor shaft inside. Take the blower motor and wheel back out and inspect everything closely I think you will find the problem.

A/C Heater Blower Motor for 2010 Nissan Altima, was making a noise for a few weeks and then just stopped blowing.

sounds like a mouse attack to me. mice get into the heater vents and blower motor cage and make nests. those can throw your blower motor out of balance, thus resulting in the noise and then the motor just gets jammed and stops operation. but it could be just the blower motor failure it self. have it checked.

I have a 2004 Impala. when I turned off the ignition myheater blower stayed on what can i do tofix it cheap?

More than likely the resistor for the heater motor is causing the problem
it is located behind the heater motor under the dash on the passengers side. If the heater motor is making noises it may be drawing to much and caused the resistor problem.

Honda pilot 2007 blower fan making noise blower fan was replaced once still making noise

Either its developed the same fault or the fan motor bearing has failed, needs greasing or, if there's a belt, the belt is slipping.

My heater fan was making noise but was still blowing the hot air out. Now it makes no noise but blows no air out. I assume the fan/blower motor is bad. How do I replace it?

your blower mototr stopped turning , the noise you heard was one of the cage weights came loose and put the blower cage off ballance, first you need to locate the blower fan and check to make sure it has 12 volts, if so then you need to use a jumper wire to ground the other wire going into the blower motor, if this turns the blower motor on then you have a blower motor resister out and need to replace it.

Heater blower makes noise on high speed

it is either a bad switch or window motor. finding a wiring diagram and shooting power to the correct wire will identify whether the switch or motor is faulty.

Honda heater makes loud noise

ok well its possible there may be something stuck in the blower motor under the passenger side dash. ..or the blower motor itself could be on its way out, sometimes leaves or sticks from trees and even stove inside the glove box can find their way into the windshield cowling and into your blower motor..u can remove it to check by unplugging its white connector and remove the 8mm bolts that secure it into the heater core box..its very easy to remove..the 8mm bolts / screws should also have a phillips head on them...

Grinding noise from Heater and burning smell from 1997 Dodge Cara

the problem could be in the blower wheel or motor, is there a vibration with the blower on and grinding. i rec removing blower motor and inspecting that further. debris could be cought inside it or blower may need replacing. it may not be that bad of a repair $$.
