LOOK ON DASHBOARD AREA FOR A LITTLE BUBBLE LOOKING THING PROTUDING UP SOMETIMES NEAR WINDSHEILD
Just change the ambient temp sensor on a 2007 dodge grand caravan and the temp still reads a -40 how can I fix to read the right temp?
Did you ever figure out a solution? I'm having the exact same problem on my 2005 grand caravan.
Take apart the sensor and blow hot air into the sensor and its receptacle for about five minutes with a hair dryer or heat gun. Then swab some dielectric grease into the receptacle and on the sensor to keep out moisture. Make sure the sensor is in it proper position at the front of the grill, inside the grill, not high or low, or within the engine compartment. reattach everything. That ought to do it, if not, suspect problems in the wire or in a related sensor. location of the sensor and protecting it from moisture are key to it operating correctly.

It is located behind the front bumper and it looks like it plugs into the radiator. I need to replace mine, but I can't figure out how.
location of sensor?
