My friends 2009 Rav4 low beams are so dim, I didn't think that she had her lights on, but she did. What could be the problem?

When working is light as bright as the driver side low beam ? Dim ? What's the headlight socket look like ? Burnt ? high resistance ,drawing to much current . Do you know how to do current draw testing ., Voltage drop testing ? Mastering Voltage Drop Testing with Pete Meier and Jerry Truglia

bad connection or bad earth check all connection or bulb

I would check for the groundwire continuity

The high beam continues to work on both sides...I pulled the Driverside headlamp fuse and then both left and right beams lit up but very dim.

check the dimmer switch, I had the same problem. this dimmer switch didn`t dim on low beem but went out on high beams, turned the dimmer switch up and down/on and off and it came back on.

I have a 2010 mazda6 and I had hid in it now my low beam are dull could barly see when its just low beams on and I changed my bulbs to stock

you could have a bad dimmer switch not working on the low beam side of the switch.are you sure the low beams work or have they blown and you didn`t notice.

when the low beams quit try switching from high to low and back and see if low beams stay on, if they do it may be the dimmer switch, if that doesn't change anything suspect the headlight switch.

I would think ur low beams are burnt (the bulbs) because that dim light u see should be the daytime running lights, which are usually less bright that the lights turned on.
Verify ur fuses as well for the low beams.
Check on that for now and get back to me if u have questions.
