2003 silverado 1500 ls tail light problem..all lights work turn signals work light on and off work but when i apply brake driver side light fails to illuminate..have new bulbs and have checked...

Check that you have a good earth you may need to remove the earth wire from body of vehicle clean erea then replace if not check that the wire to brake bulb is not burnt out you can do this by using another piece of wire going strait from terminal to bulb or with a test light hope this helps

2003 silverado 1500 p/u my reverse lights are not

Check the neutral start/backup light switch on transmission. Block the wheels and raise truck up enough to get under on drivers side. It will be a round black plu g with 3 wires going to it. Remove the plug from switch. have someone to shift the transmission into reverse.Using an ohm meter check for continuity between the outer two post on switch. If you find continuity between the two outer post only in reverse on the switch then the switch is good. Also check for continuity between outer post on switch to transmission case. There should be no continuity. Hope this will help you.

Brake lights do not work

Have you checked both bulbs , also check closely on all the fuses. if you have to, use a test light and probe all fuses on both sides of the fuses

2003 silverado 1500 v-6 brake lights dont work

ljones, Did you check the "VEH stop" fuse in the left side instrument panel fuse box. There are 3 stop light fuses, 1 for all the stop lights located in the under hood fuse box. 2 in the left side IP fuse box. 1 for the upper stop light and 1 for the lower stop lights. The fuse box in the IP is where the upper and lower stop lights split. Let me know.

Tail lights don't work on 1998 Chevy Silverado.

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.
