2004 Dodge Neon SXT, added new battery need code to reset car

Generic code for transmission failures. This one covers all of them.. Have the codes read from other than a parts store.

don't know if you can but you can try resetting everything. you disconnect your battery for 10 mins (positive post on battery) then reconnect it then start your car.

take off the transmission pan should be a 604 trans there are several shift silionds in side the first one is (a) the second is (B) change it with a new one .change the filter and pan gasket fill with mopar #4 fluid

there is no such thing you need to time the engine correctly

These codes are codes regarding failure. The code P0300 means repeated Engine Misfiring. The code P0303 means Repeated Misfiring of Cylinder Number 3. Kindly contact a technician to get both checked. Their Heads must have been misplaced or broken due to misfiring.

Had the same problem before on my 04 Neon SXT...camshaft sensor is on left side of engine block, take out the battery and to the left of it (face car) is the camshaft position sensor. To change it you'll have to move a few hoses but its plan to see there on the left side of the engine...pretty easy remove and replace. Fixed my problem of car not going above 2k RPM when i replaced the sensor.

there is a drain plug on the bottom it should be on the right side maybe left but it screws out to the left to drain it
