1990 lexus ls 400 security system went off now vehicle will not start. keys open door, turn alarm off but starter will not engage. had problem 2 months ago changed car battery. vehicle started, but the same thing happen again the doors was not locked just open the door and alarm went off and now car wont start.I chandeg the lock mecahnism in Jan 2010 car worked fine now problem with the alarm system. do anyone have a solution to this problem.

Okay you may want to check to see if the sensor on door lock cylinder hasn't fallen off from the lock itself. Pull of the door panels and check the wires at the door lock cylinder. Hope this helps.

Most car alarm and stereo installers may be able to help you. I took apart the driver's door lock on one vehicle, removed the tumblers and reassembled it but eventually someone messed with it and I was stuck
Your alarm is keep your system from starting. When the alarm system fails, you have 1 of two choices, if it is a after market alarm then just disconnect the alarm, if it is a manufacture alarm then you will need to take it to a company to have then replace the alarm or disconnect it. Doing so yourself you can hurt your vehicle more then help it
you need to reset alarm/immobiliser.lock car with remote, hold button down for 30 secs,then press/hold down unlock button,should reset.another way is with key in ignition/turned on, press alarm button down and hold for 30 secs.this resets immobiliser.toyota

yer right,,,its a dam lexus??? there nothing but problems when they go wrong,,, not that they go wrong often, but when they do??????
i realy cant think of a way you could do what you wont to do,,,,, but i can think of a way to put it right, take it into the lexus dealer they will fix the alarm for you,,,only one thing that springs to mind is when did you last change the kye fob batterys?????
however when you do change them do it very very fast,, or you lose the coad for the alarm???
then it wont go at all,,, its a lexus!!! yuck!
My 1991 Lexus LS 400 does something similar. When the alarm goes off I use the key to unlock the passenger side front door and it turns the alarm off. Go figure, I know it sounds funny but it solves the problem for me.
