has this vehicle sat for awhile or got hot recently? can you describe a little more what happens when you try to start the truck? it could be anything from a bad starter, loose started or negative cable, a head blown and water in the cylinders creating too much pressure to let it turn over to bad mains and bearings and a locked engine.has this vehicle sat for awhile or got hot recently? can you describe a little more what happens when you try to start the truck? it could be anything from a bad starter, loose started or negative cable, a head blown and water in the cylinders creating too much pressure to let it turn over to bad mains and bearings and a locked engine.
Can you turn the engine by hand (big socket wrench on the front of the crankshaft)? The starter may be stuck in the flywheel and it might pop loose if you can turn the engine. Did this just happen after the engine ran, or did the engine stop running and make noise? Can you turn the engine by hand (big socket wrench on the front of the crankshaft)? id make sure the fuses and relays didn't pop for the starter while installing as if it was intstalled wit the battery still connected it could have arched it causing them to blow. then id make sure the battery was good and so was the alternator first thing. second, make sure all ur connections are good ie battery ground as well as wires on the starters solinoid.
Start checking the fluid level and the color and make sure its not burnt.and this problem continues to appear then drain your old fluid and put in a new one and also try to put in a new filter. Because any problem with a filter or fluid would really affect your transmission Shifting and performance. Good luck
I may not be all the way in park or the safety neutral switch in not working. Did you try and start it in Neutral? Also move your shifter around while the key is engauged and see if it will start.
look for the selenoyd conection or the starter Relay, also make sure that your battery terminals are clean, make sure You have connected the cable that goes to the battery to the right place
sound like you are not getting the right fuel pressure you need to check the fuel pressure hit the tank in the center with a hammer and se if it runs if it does you need a pump
Won't start or won't turn over? What level? State of charge? Voltage?
