I have a problem the back door will not open with key remote or just by the touch pad. That I know of is there a release button or something to open the back hatch.
Yes, simple fix.
use your remote to open back hatch. on the lip you will see many torx 15mm screws. Now undoing this will give you access to the 2 torx screws under the lift hatch "touch pad" Be carefull to keep the wire attached to the touch pad in your grasp. Simply unplug the old and re plug the new one. Re screw only in reverse order.

you don't. take it into a Hyndai Dealership and have the handle repaired/replaced. The rear hatch panel/cover has to be removed (from inside the vehicle) to access the hatch latch and open the door.. from that point the handle can be replaced/repaired.

My wife's 2003 Yukon wouldn't lock the rear doors or hatch, but it would unlock. My problem was the lock relay was bad. There are two relays, one for lock and one for unlock. They are located in the fuse panel on the left side of the console. Open the drivers door and you will see a cover that pops off. Behind this are several fuses and relays. Consult your manual to see which is the lock and unlock relays. They are side by side on a 2003. They pull straight out. I replaced both and they were around $10 apiece at any auto store.

the unlock or popper for the door needs to be replaced. the door should work with a key.

I just had the same problem with my 1995.. believe me its a pain! by the way on the driver side below the steering wheel close to the door there should be a hidden pink (or any color) plastic box which basically controlls the cars security system... i removed it and i was good to go...try that... the only thing though is that you wont be able to lock the doors automaticaly, ull have to do it manually

you have two relays on the interior fuse block one for locking and one for unlocking. Swap them and see if the problem is now such that they will not lock. If so you have your answer.
