Fuel injector cleaner

This is the ZF transmission. It needs good care. Use one of these, NOT the ubiquitous Dexron, nor Penrite fluid.

try using any semi-synthetic or synthetic with value about 75w90, if in very hot climate even 85w100, i would add some stabiliser regardless of the climate, my favourite is either of these two:

My good friend don't be down with your problem. See first your life which is beautiful and cars can be fixed but our life health wont.I will try to help you with your car's problem. If you suspect the Catalytic Converter it doesn't need to be replaced immediately,You have to confirm first,there is how. First start the car in idle and go at the back of your car and smell the emissions coming out of the exhaust pipe and if the smell is like rotten eggs means you need cat.Even though before you go for it try second test by visiting the MOT Center and request for emission test.Then you finalize. The other Advice I give you is to clean the throttle body ( it is the part that accelerates your engine) either is working mechanically ( cable ) or electronically ( connector ) Use a good quality of carb cleaner and it is much better to remove it and do a very good cleaning. I do not know how expert you are on cars because it is better to remove the throttle by an expert. When finish put in your fuel tank an additive for Fuel Injection Cleaning - What I personally use is the Liqui moly fuel additive and it is very good. First check for small vacuum leaks by spraying aerosol carb cleaner at any area which might leak [ie vacuum hoses] Any vacuum operated device which contains a diaphragm needs to be checked using a hand vacuum pump. Sears sells a nice one.
Also check to make sure that the purge valve for the charcoal emissions canister is not leaking when the engine is cold.
If this does not help or you find no leaks, I would strongly suspect that you have dirty and/or leaking fuel injectors. Fords are notorious for fuel injector problems. Dirty fuel injectors first show up as a problem with engine stalling or rough idling when cold. Fuel tank cleaners like Chevron Techron will sometimes work. However, the BEST way is to remove all the injectors and have them sent out to a shop with proper testing/cleaning [ultrasound] equipment. Generally, shops which specialize in diesel fuel injection have this equipment. Should cost you around $25 per injector for testing/cleaning.

first relief fuel pressure before disconnecting fuel lines remove fuel pump fuse or relay start engine let it idle until stall out lack fuel fuel now fuel pressure is reliefed. you have to remove top upper air cleaner housing, you have to remove whole entire air cleaning system because the fuel lines with fuel injectors is under the air cleaner filament you have to remove entire fuel line with fuel injector in order to replace fuel injector.

YOUR FUEL INJECTORS HAS TO BE PRESSURE CLEAN IF YOU HAVE PETROL ENGINE.BEST TO LET GARAGE CLEAN INJECTORS.YOUR POWER LOST PROBLEM COULD BE FAULTY TURBOCHARGER OR WASTEGATE ALSO CHECK FOR RESTRICTED EXHAUST MUFFLER OR CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

Get fuel injector cleaner add to gas.
get throttle body cleaner and clean throttle body.....
should take you all of 5 mionutes including removing your gas cap...

remove and clean carbon from idle control valve, it may be sticking, and also check fuel filter for clogging up. as for the injectors a good injector cleaner used often, usually helps quite a bit. I own a 2000 malibu and it idles at 700 to 750 rpms. 3.1 v6. the dealers want to rip people off! thats my opinion. good-luck!! add injector cleaner at least once a month.

10w 40 - 20w 50 is good depeding on the mileage. If it is higher mileage, I would use the heavier oil(20w 50). If the engine has been rebuilt or is well maintained, low mileage, use the lower weight oil. Any quality brand will work. If you decide on synthetic, you will be stuck with synthetic! Royal Purple or Lubro Moly makes really great products to give longevity to your engine. It will come with a bigger price tag though.

Try diesel fuel additive like LUBRO-MOLY. Mix in full tank of diesel and run it till you cleaned out the intake track.
