My 1996 Chrysler Town & Country horn will not work, is there a fuse? I looked under the hood at the main fuse box, but there is no fuse for the horn. Also my cruise control will not work is this related?
Question, is your cruise not working and is your air bag light on. If so replace the clockspring inside the column. If it does not appear to be the clockspring then first, using a jumper wire check the horns themselves to see if they are OK. Let me know what you find.Question, is your cruise not working and is your air bag light on. If so replace the clockspring inside the column. You really need to look in the fuse box under the dashboard to the left of the driver's seat. There you will find, under the fuse box cover, the words next to the fuse!
The fuse box is located under the hood, drivers side ,under a cover marked IPM FUSE & RELAY CENTER open the cover with your fingers. There is a diagram under the cover with location of all the fuses .
The fuses are the first thing that needs to be checked. There is one fuse box under the hood next to the battery and then there is a second fuse box under the dash on the drivers side.
It's in the fuse box under the hood by the battery. Open the box. It's the one at the front and farthest to the driver's side. Should be a yellow 20 amp fuse. Removing it will kill the radio, navigation and multi disc player.
In the Fuse and Relay BOX Under hood Driver side. Take Lid off and Looking at it by way of Standing on side of Van. The Fuse you need to Replace is on TOP ROW (count from Front end of Van) Count to 7th FUSE and that is the one for BOTH Power Sockets 20 amp Fuse. There is a BLANK Fuse Spot in the ROW Dont Count it ONLY COUNT FUSES. Im Sure you will find this to be the Right Fuse, Otherwise Look at INSIDE of the BOZ LID For anything Further. Please RANK me If You FEEL I DESERVE IT
THANK YOU.
