OBS port 95 rodeo

my guess, you are in uSA
with 1995 rodeo. with unstated engine
and wont to use a 1996 scan tool on a 1995 car usa
OBD2 will not work on your 95
the 95 uses custom tools, read $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
95 is OBD2
in canada even 97 fails. for obd2 started there in 1998;.

why not say what you are attempting, so we can be on same page.

1995 Isuzu Rodeo Developed a miss... Changed plugs and wires still has a miss. Plugs are getting awfully wet from fuel. any ideas?

If the check engine light is on, you should have the computer scanned for trouble codes to find the area to test.
Could be a faulty O2 sensor, or leaking injector.

1995 isuzu rodeo failed hc ppm during emission test, why?

The reasons are very numerous, a common one is dirty oil and a thermostat that is not getting the engine up to the correct operating temperature of about 200F. A worn out catalytic converter can cause this as well.

1995 Isuzu Rodeo will not start- just clicks. Would turn over after several clicks but now will not turn over at all.

you need to jump start your battery. The battery will need to be tested to see if it can hold a charge and supply enough amps to power your truck. Check for clean and tight connections to battery posts.

I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo built in June of 1995. It has 1996 interior in from the factory. I cannot find the Data Link port for reading my engine codes. Is this a 12 pin or a 3 pin socket?

It should be above your gas pedal.

1995 Isuzu Rodeo 2.6 liter SOHC L4 (4ZE1)

Obd port

OBD ports were mandated to always be on the drivers side near the steering column, on, or under the dashboard.

This is straight from Haynes Repair Manual for 1989-1997 Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo/Honda Passport (book # 47017:
The 12 pin Assembly Line Data Link (ALDAL) terminal is located under the dash on the driver's side on 3.1L engines. To retrieve the trouble codes, connect a jumper wire to terminals A and B. It may be covered with a plastic cover. They suggest using a paper clip to jumper the two terminals-then turn ignition switch to ON position (NOT ENGINE START). Check engine light on dash will flash-one flash-a pause-then two short flashes-indicating code 12-diagnostic mode. After self checking-if there are any trouble codes-the light will flash proper codes using mentioned method.Note the flash code then call a shop with your info for what ails your Rodeo.

Does this also apply to a 2.6 L engine? We can't seem to find it on our 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, 2.6L engine.
