Our chevy dealer looked at our 2004 ion quad coupe & told us we needed a new computer to fix the blinker problem. nothing else has worked for us. we called saturn & they said there have been a few reports of this issue & that they would make a note of it. not much help from them.
I think you may suspect the hazard (4 way flasher) switch at this moment. The indicator wiring goes thru the Haz switch as standard because of the system requirments. Either a loose plug connector or improper reset hazard on / off position at switch. Good luck
This happened to my car as well. I put the bulb in the other light and it worked find then I noticed that the socket was burned so I called about getting a replacement socket and was told that this was a common problem. I cut off the socket section from the part they sold me and spliced it on myself. Works fine now.
