I bought a 2002 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon in January with 100,000 kms. Runs great except as soon as the warmer weather came my door locks will lock randomly. If I unlock them they will lock again and so on until I turn off the car. At the same time I hear a ticking sound in the dash. Sometimes it seems to happen while coming to a stop but not always. Has anyone had this problem? I am hoping to find out how to fix it before I have to pay a ton of money to find the issue. Thanks
I have two Subarus, a 1990 and a 2000 -- both have systematic doorlock problems. The best suggestion I can give you is to Google Subaru forums, there are several good ones, and by postinfg and looking at archives, you will get answers from people who have had this issue.
