High idle concern is probably caused by either a sticking throttle plate, defective IAC or the computer is commanding the high idle for another reason.

the blower motor is found behind the glove box in the HVAC case

1998 Saturn SL1 1.9Ltr Enginer, blower motor resistor I need a diagram how to replace it please

screws on the top of the dash in the Saturn. Then pry the dashboard up and away. This may seem like a pain to get to, but it's a must if you want to fix the heater blower motor resistor.

Heater does not work at all

When engine is warmed up to normal temperature, feel both heater hoses. If both are hot, coolant is circulating through the heater core. Could be a heater case door not opening. Does blower fan work?

2001 Saturn SL2 won't stay running until it warms up

I would take it to autozone to have the code read. It could be your idle control sensor, or it could even be O2 sensors. Hard to say without knowing the code.

The problem is the blower motor speed control resistor, it is located near the blower motor in the housing.

The fan located inside the car stopped working, is it a fuse??

Hi,

The fuse box for a 1995 Saturn SL would be on the passenger side kick panel for most of the electrical devices inside the car. However, there is also a fuse box in the engine bay near the battery.

In some instances, an A/C (heater) fan (blower) failure could be caused by a defective resistor.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
