89 toyota camry battery issues

Hi I have an 89 toyota camry. I changed the alternator and battery. The battery keeps dying I charged up for an hour drove it around it was fine. Tried to start it the next morning won't start it cranks a bit the lights come on but can't get it to start. I can jump it again but would like to fix the issue before trying to jump again. Help please...

Sounds like something is drawing power from the battery when you are not driving your car. Check interior lights, head lights, brake lights, aftermarket stereo or trailer wiring.

2014 camry has daed battery, what to look for

if it died suddenly you may have left a light on. otherwise it cannot hold enough charge to start the car because the battery is old, or your alternator does not put out enough voltage to keep the battery charged.

2005 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder intermittently won't start

try starting the car and while running disconnect the negative battery cable,if the car still runs turn on the head lights,if the car dies the alternator is weak. I think its weak and can charge the battery as long as the lights are off,but cant keep up when theyare on. so if drive most of the time in the day time you are ok as long as you dont have to start the car too many times. when you drive with the lights on and the engine slows to an idle like when you park the car dies. make sense?

02 toyota camry dies everytime foot is off accelerator

Most auto parts stores offer free Alternator testing takes 5 mins. if the Alternator is good and will hold a charge, then your problem sounds as if it is a spark plug/ fuel mixture issue,,check plugs and plug wires.

I have a t bird 89 it wont keep charge we have changed the alternator and batterie, still keeps dieing..please help

Stop by any good parts store (Autozone, Advance, etc...) and have them do a FREE charging system test and LOAD test your battery. You'll find the culprit.

Changed battery and alternators, but after a few min, alternator putting out 13.5 volts and battery is not being charged. In addittion car dies on iidel.

13.5 volts is not an unreasonable voltage. How do you know it's not taking a charge with the new alternator and new battery? I might have it checked at the battery retailer using their starting/charging testing machine.

2005 Toyota Camry. Stopped the car; few hours

Have the battery and alternator checked by a mechanic or auto parts store. As it is, it would seem your battery needs to be replaced, but if your alternator is bad then your battery may be good and you would just need to replace the alternator and charge the battery.

My 2007 toyota camry's battery keeps draing or dying.

I am almost certain that it is a faulty DIODE in your alternator.. You can check this out for free by taking your vehicle to a Checker/Schucks/or Kragen Auto, or Auto Zone. Just request a Charging System Test. If it is, in fact your problem, you will need to puchase a new alternator.
