Heater blower coming on when ignition turned off

If it is and automatic, put your foot on the brake and rack it through all the gears and back into Park.

Check for 12 volt at the blower motor, if it's there, once you turn your blower and ignition on and motor doesn't work, you have a bad motor. If it's not there, check your fuses, blower switch and blower resistor pack.

It does have a key slot think its behind the right side of the door handle and you pull the plastic cover off

So many problems at the same time indicates that a negative main plug is disconnected from the chassis

either the blower motor resistor or blower motor relay! most likey the resistor!

Replace the battery. I had issues with transmission and air suspension despite the battery holding charge. New battery fixed it

Remove changer, check fuse located on rear of changer +connections.Also check for water ingress.Common problem, good luck.

The sensor is probably defective as it keeps the fan on regardless of water temp. Get it replaced.

You first should find out if this is correct behaviour, because most cars after 1982 have an electronic fan which is actuated according to the temp guage in your cooling system, so even if your ignition is off, your fan still works to cool the motor (although they are mostly japanese cars that do this).
