My truck is extremely sluggish and when reved up it has several misses. The sluggish, n the standard, is at the beginning of the gear..at the end of the gear it gains its power or fuel. Where or what is the problem?

The car is slow to go after a stop and is reving

check the plastic grommet where the kick down cable hooks to side of throttle body...they tend to rot off which causes cable to get out of adjustment. causing miss shifts..good luck... lee

I have a windstar 1996 end whend accellerating rpn goes up n down what i can ido

This is a natural process. When you accelerate the engine revs up & changes gears. If it is a standard transmission Then the engine reving excessively higher may mean clutch servicing & adjustment.

After stopping at a dead stop my 98 S10 has a hard time getting out of first gear to start up again. Maybe its the fuel line or I need a new stick shift.

Is this a standard or automatic? If standard, do you mean that it won't come out of first gear so that you can shift it to second gear? I don't understand your question. Need more information. Do you mean that it is sluggish and has no power? Do you mean that an automatic transmission won't shift?

Misfires, sticking 2-3 selonoid in tranny, and sluggish to start

I would make sure the engine is properly tuned. The miss fire condition could be making the transmission run poorly. Once the miss fire is repaired , then recheck the transmission.

The miss fire can be caused by several things after the tune up is done. The ignition coil, the fuel pump and filter , the computer , injectors do carbon up.

So when getting the tune up ask to have the injector cleaning done. The injection cleaner for the engine is from the dealer . They have a special cleaner . This is a common repair per Chevy to have the injection service done.

Good luck

BMW sluggish transmission problem, help.!

At that age its a rebuild or re manufactured unit. I'll be expensive. Probably more cost effective to replace car.
