Start by replacing the brake light switch that should fix the brake lights and the comming out of park and may or may not fix the blinkers do they come on or do they blink fast or what
Check the fuses mine did the same thing a couple of times because it was blowing the fuse that controls the cruise control, which also effects taking it out of park.Check the fuses mine did the same thing a couple of times because it was blowing the fuse that controls the cruise control, which also effects taking it out of park.

The brake light switch on these trucks was a poor design. Its mounted on the brake pedal. Look under there and bend the bracket that holds the brake light switch slightly and things will start working again. When these were new we used to just grab the brake pedal and pull it toward the drivers seat really hard and let go. This fixed your problem 99% of the time.
THE truck rear light wires are as follows dark blue is rt turn light blue is left turn and brown is park lights. the trailer wiring would be brown park and yellow is one side turn left is another cant remember off top my head which side those are.
Without knowing the year make and model it is impossible to be specific.
But I can say this: Many cars use the same filament (and therefore the same wire to the socket) for the brake and turn signal. That filament is on steady while your foot is on the brake, and the turn signal is not being used. Turn on the turn signal, and that filament is disconnected from the brake-light system by the T/S switch, but is connected by that switch to the T/S flasher.
I have a 98 Bucik Park Avenue. I recently had it painted and when the body man put the lights back in I began having problems with the brake lights and turn signal lights. Only one brake light lights up and only on signal light lightsup and they are on opposite sides. I have changed the bulbs (all) and I have tested the fuses(All).
