Car stalls when in drive, stopped at red light

My 1990 Toyota Celica has a problem, where it stalls when at red light. I put that in neutral and it is fine and as soon I put that in drive, it starts to stall. I give it a little gas and as soon as it starts rolling, it's fine. While driving sometimes the engine light will come on and it goes away in 10 seconds. The engine light also comes up if I brake too hard or if I stop suddenly. Also, sometimes the car revs up and down when driving as well and it seems like it's going to die. Please let me know what could be the issue?

1990 Celica GT stalling & stopping driving down road. Fuel pump & Filter replaced. Still having same problem. Does not have OBM capability due to year of car.

Could be a lot of things - fuel, ignition, pollution control, etc.- you will have to narrow it down.Your car should have OBD1 capability, but you will have to find a code reader that will specifically work for it.

Why does my car start to vibrate when i'm at a stop light but not when i drive

Automatic right? You probably notice the vibration stops when you put the car in neutral when stopped - It is not a major issue - more annoying then anything. If it is rough idling it could be a number of things which are usually rectified with a major service.

I have a 1990 Celica, trying to put in new radio. Got everything wired up correctly, Constant - blue/yellow, acc - gray, ground - brown and it won't come on. Radio fuse (top center 15 amp) is good,...

You have it right. Use a 12 volt test light to see if there is power between the gray and brown wires when the key is on. If there is power there, you may have got hold of a bad radio.

I have a 1994 Toyota Celica, lately when im in neutral the rpms begin to drop and when i give it gas the car stalls out or it stays under 2 rpms after second gear.

Look and listen for vacuum leak Free,Change air filter $15, change fuel filter$20, replace fuel pump$300.

With motor running and your head under hood listen for hissing sound. Then start replaceing filters first air filter , then fuel filter. Check fuel pump by listening for humming noise at gas cap when you first move key in ignition to on (when the red lights go on). Have someone listen for you at the gas cap.(NO hum need pump)

1990 Pontiac 6000 2.5 after driving, car stalls when put in gear.

You need to replace the TCC solenoid under the side cover pan of the transmission. You can also unplug the wires that go to the transmission in the front. After that it will not go into overdrive but it will stay running at stop lights untill you have it repaired.
