1993 Mercedes Benz 300 SE

My 1993 mercedes benz 300 SE is having trouble staying running. it's hesitant starting but once is starts it runs about 5 minutes and then shut off and also shut off immediately when the throttle is pressed. The fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel presser regulator have all been change. What else could possibly be the problem?

Engine wiring harness upper and lower could be degraded, coil could be bad, throttle positioner, fuel distributor could be bad and depending if its a half year car and you have an OVP that could be bad. Also after a full tune up have someone adjust the duty cycle.

1992 mercedes 300e cranks over starts for a second then die
Could be a number of things. Start with the fuel pump relay. When your key is in the start/crank pos. it overides the relay as soon as you release the key to run possition the relay has to stay ingaged or the fuel pump will shut off. Also look in your owners manuel for impact or emergency fuel shut off switch reset.

I have a 1993 300 SE with a dead battery. I noticed the grounded terminal is positive. Aren't most vehicles gounded from the negarive terminal? I want to make sure I install the new battery properly.
All Mercedes are negative ground and you should be able to follow the ground terminal a short distance directly to the body.. Do not hook it up backwards.
