Where do I find the air conditioner drain tube

Floor boards are wet. I believe it s do the the clogging of the air conditioner drain tube. how do I unclog the air conditioner drain tube?

The tube is located on the passenger side firewall you can see it from under the car where you will have to be when you clean it out with either blowing air into it or clean it out with a coat hanger. just becareful not to push to far inside so you don't poke a hole into the evaporator. Hope this helps leave a comment. By the way it is usually a little rubber tube hanging out of the fire wall.

The air conditioner condensation drain is under the hood not inside the car. The fluid is probably a leaking heater coil. It is located on the passenger side firewall.

Water leaks are fun to trace out. the drain holes and tubes can be seen with roof open and can be unplugged with compressed air . but usually the headliner is soaked and leaks on to seats the windshield will leak on to passenger floor. remove glove box and check for wetness along "A" pillar.

Water on the floor with air conditioner
have the AC evaporator (found under the dash) inspected. It may need cleaning or the drains may have fallen out of place.

Front floor board stays wet, believe it's the air conditioner
If the floorboard is wet on the passanger side of van it would be the drain tube causing the problem. Raise the hood and go to the passanger side of van and look down on the firewall. You will see a black tube about 4 to 5 inches long hanging down. Use a heavy duty tie strap to insert into the drain tube to remove the obstruction so the water can drain. Do not use anything sharp that will punch a hole in the tube. By doing this it will correct your problem. Hope this will help.

Floor board is getting wet. Believe drain line may be plugged up with sediment. How can I dislodge sediment?
If you can fine it blow it out with air or gently probe it with a wire.

most common problem is the a/c condensor tube is clogged and is under the car and needs to be cleared with compressed air. also the sunroof track has 4 drain tubes and the right front may be clogged or leaking. you can check that by pouring a cup of water down the right front drain tube in the sunroof track and see if water comes out by the right front wheel

Floor on passenger side gets wet when running air conditioner
I have a 2006 Fusion with the same issue and I fixed it for less than $2. There is a drain tube that goes from the passenger floor board out through the firewall to allow water to drain under the vehicle. However, water can travel along the underside and seep back into the vehicle. I went to a hardware store and bought a few inches of 5/8" tubing. I simply slipped this onto the drain and the water now flows down the tube and safely away from the interior of the car. Been dry ever since.
