Laura, A few places like autozone will scan why the light is on for no charge. Engine light can come on for something as simple as a loose gas cap to something worse as a faulty catalytic converter. Take vehicle into a good shop, have scanned for trouble codes, diagnosed and an estimate for repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck
"I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. Check out some of my other posts if you need more tips and info." Engine Light Is On 2005 2007 Chrysler Town and Country What to Do 2006... what is wrong with my car check engine light on now 2005 Chrysler Town Country
it could be the system utility of the car computer its protecting, the car ,if you have a friend or somebody lets you borrow a compu and check to verify its not the computer, start to send you codes, you just said after fix one another comes out, sometimes are the wires too
If you gotten gas might have been a bad batch, I would find a way and reset the light, once you reset the light by clearing the codes you will need to complete the DRIVE CYCLE which will then tell you IF the light returns there is a problem with the O2 sensor or you are having Fuel problems.
this is an egr valve trouble code..you need a new egr valve..make sure you disconnect battery when you replace it..sometimes fault will come back even though replaced valve
0700 is a "transmission control system malfunction". The entire 0700 series of codes deals with transmission trouble codes in more detail so the 0700 won't tell you much unless one or more of the other codes also were set.
Dont be worried at all. The battery temp sensor isnt very important, most cars dont even have them. The only thing is you will have that light on. Good luck!!
