Need to reset the security it wont run or rollover by the key

Check starter or ignition relays

I think the reset switch is in the rear quarter panel. Open the rear hatch and remove the passenger panel. I am not positive on this it could be on the other side. But on the 1990's vintage it was on the right. This switch is used for "roll overs" to shut of the fuel. You might have a bad pump or clogged filter instead.

Check your security light on the dash and see if it stays on or blinks with the key in on position. If so google how to reset the security.

You may have removed the fuse for theecurity system. When you turn the key to start, does the security light start to flash? If it does the security system will need to be reset. Most GM's reset is to leave the key in the run position after you try to start it. It usually takes 30 min in this position to reset. Some times you need to try to start it and leave the key in the run position for 10 min, off and back to the run position for a total of 3 times and on the last time its off go straight to start it position. I have found it by googling resetting security system venture van. Good luck.

do u have an owners manual? this is the security system warning symbol, you have been locked out, try this reset procedure, if that doesn't reset the key code then you will need a dealer to hook up a GM scasnner and see what the problem is.
PASSKEY LOCKOUT RESET GM CARS 1999 UP
1) Put the key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2) more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the PASSKEY system to recognize your key.

I would be looking at water in the air filter or blocked air filter.........
It sounds like its choking.

i think you computer may need to be reset . oryou can try un hook you battery for 10 to 15 and see if it re set it self ok

TURN KEY TO RUN POSITION FOR 12 MINUTES WALK AWAY HAVE COFFEE OR SOMETHING GO BACK SECURITY LIGHT SHOULD BE OFF THIS WILL RESET THE SYSTEM .TRY TO START CAR. FOR FINAL REPAIR THE KEY TUMBLER AND KEY WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED

take rubber hammer tap on fuel tank after turning key on to see if it runs, if it does replace it. check fuses under hood and under dash

power to pump make sure the pump is working
