You mean oil? A standard 5 speed manual trans, takes gear oil, 90 weight, and about 4 qts. I haven't messed with a manual tranny in years. If you are talking about an automatic, it takes 5 qts fluid for a filter change or about 13 qts for a total rebuild. Hope this helps.

2002 Toyota Camry what kind of automatic transmission fluid does this car take

Check tranny fluid level. If at correct point new oil or adding will not correct anomaly. Need tranny pro to resolve issue.

If you need to add a little standard auto transmission fluid will do the trick. Nothing special.

What type of transmission fluid for a 1992 toyota camry le

The computer lists a synthetic fluid costing $ 9 per quart.
In my 1992 Toyota car, I use standard fluid labelled Dexron/Mercon, which is a transmission fluid covering about 90 % of the cars in the USA.
Many companies make this, it is all the same.
This fluid I use costs about $ 2.50 - 3.00 a quart.
God bless your efforts.

2002 toyota camry......After she warms up..it feels like it skips or bucks after taking your foot off gas pedal. You dont feel it on accelleration.. just as you coast

Hello Kord ! It is a possibility the automatic transmission fluid to be the culprit of this situation you face. When it gets warm is starting the skipping and bucking. Is loosing the viscosity and pressure. Renew oil and filter. But my advise before you proceed on that is good to give it a good oil flush and then go to change. In the new oil if you like is good to put also the Wynn's Automatic Transmission Treatment. That will help the transmission work to become smoother.

How do you check 2012 camry transmission fluid level

I have a 2012 Toyota Camry. The gearbox is a sealed until. Recently I have investigated about getting it serviced, Mine has just come out of warranty, Toyota dealer is asking $442.00 for service, after speaking with a number of transmission specialists they recommend 40,000 service intervals. Costing approximately $330.00 just ensure your transmission service technician is using the Toyota recommended oil which is "WS"
World standard and nothing different.

Does my 2008 toyota camry have a dip stick for the transmission fluid to check my oil

Toyota has used a sealed transmission for a few years which has no dipstick, look under the hood if it has a dipstick it will be at the front near the radiator and have a red handle on it, if not it uses the sealed transmission which uses WS(world standard) transmission fluid which according to toyota does not need servicing although most dealers recommend changing the fluid at about 100,000 miles.

It should be fine, as long as you topped it up again. If there's no sign of transmission fluid in your driveway it's not leaking. Keep on trucking!
