I couldn't find clk 280 in my US database.
I did find 3.0L/2996 cc
The firing order for v6, 143625, 2006 model year. I figured no matter what model had this engine, the firing order would be the same, correct?
This is common on the CLK 500, but usually its just that the remote control wears out. I have changed mine twice already in 70,000 miles. Buy a new remote key fob and it likely will solve your problems if a simple battery change did not do the job. Always try that first and use top grade batteries, not those from the dollar store, because they fail too soon.
thats a good price, a mercedes battery alone is over $ 100.00 that a good one. saers and autozone are usauly the cheapest, and you dont need a part # all you need is year, make and model of car to get any battery, good luck.
I purchased a MB CLK 320 and set the radio frequency and successfully put the freq in memory, however, the radio blinks tthe freq. Is this normal or do I have to enter another key to stop the radio from blinking? Ed Massachusetts
there must be somekind of amp draw or else you shouldnt be having any problems, this may sound wierd, and also may be a bit of work, try disconnecting the alternator for a night and see if your problem goes away, ive run across this a couple of times, also, seat control modules are known to cause draw problems in c and clk classes
