In first you should inspect your brake line from the back of the car to the front. your car is getting hold so you can have a leake somewhere in the brake lines, then check for your brake fluid level in the master?does it have a dark color if it does you need to change all the brake fluid i'ts contaminated.but if it's cleen and the level is full, this could be your brake pad as to be change.do you feel the brake pedal free when you press on it and after a second time feel harder? if it does you need to bleed the brakes lines,if it's the same change the master.BUT! i remember once i had to change the brake lines spliter it's locate under the master cylinder, bolt on the side of the rail frame this spliter send a signal to your light indicator in your dashboard when the pressure goes down,so i hope this can help you! ...give me some news please! lipak!...
The brake warning light in the 92 Accord will go on for 2 possible reasons:
1. Brake fluid is low-check the master brake cylinder to make sure the level is ok.
2. If you engage the emergency brake (even slightly) the light will go on. I think that this may be the reason in your situation. It may be that the emergency brake was pulled up a bit, not enough to engage the brakes, but enough for the light to go on. If you later engaged the brake further, and then released it, the light would go off.
