is ground good to horn
did you hot wire horn to see if its really good first
connector pulled?
my horn problem seems related to a bad horn connection, and a bad clockspring, (shorting out and energizing horn relay, causing battery to drain dead over weeks).
First, run a direct hotwire to the horn. If it fails to work, replace it. if it does work, check that the relay is working. If both horn and relay are good, likely the horn connection inside the steering wheel has gone bad. That requires removing the horn pad from the wheel and possibly going deeper into the top of the wheel to find the problem. (most often you won't need to go that far though)
Near the gas pedal is a linkage that diverts the air from defrost to front to low by your feet. Sometimes this linkage comes un-done. This could be fixed by holding it in place with a wire-tie. Let me know what you find.

You should really have the service manual at hand; they will contain color coding of all of the wiring.
Either Haynes or Chilton will have all the electrical diagrams and the most serivce work you can do at home on the mechanical stuff.
They cost between 20-30 dollars US and can be had at auto parts stores.
Many horns are not directly controlled by the horn button but by a relay on which the horn button works.
check all bat. conn. especially the grounds. give it a good t-up plugs cap rotor wires air& fuel filters the next time stalls out hold gas pedal to floor don't pump it.
