My 2001 ford focus dies while driving then i pull over and it will start no problem....I recently put a new battery in it???

Please check the spark plug gaps and also clean out your fuel injection with spray cleaner and then go for a drive if it happens again after this sit still in park raise the rpm's up then when it idles again put it in drive foot on the brake and try to raise the idle if you can great if you can't change the throttle position sensor

Ah, had this problem. Voltmeter on battery is under 12 v and unless alternator running full tilt not enough to run computer. bad battery sulfation from previous sitting

Hit your steering wheel, if motor dies, check for loose plugs in column.

Replace the fuel pump in gas tank and install a new gas filter
