There is a round cruise control count on the left side of the wheel well and it has a cable going into the back replace that

Check your Owner's manual for fuse location. You may a fuse panel under the hood as well as under the dash - driver's or pass. side.

put some tape on a flat screw driver a pry the lense off keep wiggling the lense and it will come off be carefull not to scratch the paint good luck CJ

"Set" light when you're up to speed in Cruise control
I believe you mean stays lit; yes I have the same problem, when I start the vehicle, the cruise control is always on even though I haven't been using it. Sorry I don't know the answer but I can commiserate with you.
