Possible causes:
- Fuse is under rated.
- Short circuit in wiring.
- Fuse No. 15 is overloaded.
- Positive wire is shorted to ground.
- Check all the loads one by one which are put on this fuse.
The only way other then checking the resistance of each Injector would be to unplug one Injector at a time until the fuse doesn't blow then you have found the bad injector. NOTE: Don't rule out a wiring issue grounding out on the engine somewhere because this happens a lot. Hope this helps and have an awesome day K.
DASH HAS A SHORT CIRCUIT.DASH NEED REPLACING BUT CHECK FOR SHORTS IN THE WIRES TO DASH.DONT PUT A LARGER AMP FUSE IN A CIRCUIT TO KEEP FROM BLOWING FUSE BECAUSE IF FUSE DONT BLOW WIRES GET HOT IN THE CIRCUIT THAT HAS A SHORT IN IT AND CAUSE A CAR FIRE.
you have a short between your lighting and, window circuit
this can only be inexpensively repaired by an auto electrician. please do not put in a larger fuse! this can cause a fire!
check transfer case electrical switch, sometime if it bad it will also blow the fuse. don'trecommend you put any higher fuse than recommend, If the fuse blow there is a short some where and by putting higher amp fuse you might short or burn something else beside the fuse. if that check out than check your transfer case motor, might lock up and not allowing the motor to turn instead it short the fuse. don't drive the car, just leave it in park, put correct fuse amp back in and unplug transfer case electric switch and turn the key on (dont start the car) and see if the fuse blow; if not plug it back in and see if it blow the fuse. if that is not the case, unplug transfer case wire, and do the same and see if it blow the fuse.
You say it eventually allows you to put new fuse in, do you mean when it sits for a while, a new fuse won't blow, but if it blows and you immediately replace it, it blows again instantly?
