Temp doesn't seem to be warming up, heat not blowing hot.

It sounds like the thermostat is stuck open and you will have to replace it.

08 Sentra. Car won't get past 3 bars heater output is lukewarm. Even after 1hr plus running the upper rad hose is hot lower rad hose very cold. Any suggestions? P.S. It is -47 with wind chill and heater is...

it is likely air flow if air is cold enought it can super cool a rad if you cover part of the rad partialy and the heat starts to come then slowely cover it more and more untill it hits the proper heat range

Heater / defroster is blowing lukewarm air only. It seems to work just a little better if the fan is on half. When it is on full the air seems cooler.

is the cooling system full,if so you may hve to get the heater core cleaned as they can plug up if the dexcool anti freeze has not been changed, could also have defective thermostat(stuck open)if you have gauge does it go half way or stay low temp, other causes could be stuck air blend door in heater system

Air conditioning blowing only highest setting but HOT air

Sounds like your freon has leaked out and your heater blower resistor is burned out. Deffinitly take this to the dealer.

Ford mondeo mk3, intermitent dumping of water from cooing system, found crack in header tank, changed same, ran car at idle, temp guage at normal & heater blowing hot , took car for run , temp guage off...

You may have an air pocket in your system which some times happens.  One way to get rid of it is to take the upper hose off on the engine side,  fill your system with water until it runs out from your engine block, replace the hose, start your car turn you heater on and set to hi keep the radiator cap loose until the temp start to rise then close tight.  Once the air pocket had been remover you can drain some of the water from the radiator using the lower drain plug and add antifreeze.

2001 tahoe front heater not working, rear heater blows warm air

I have the same problem with my 2001 Tahoe. The front blower is working, its blowing strong, but its cold air even with the temp setting as high as it can get. The rear blows hot air. The engine temp guage is at about 210ish which is close to being normal (220). I just replaced the thermostate a few months ago, I don't know if its bad again, or it I deluted the antifreeze too much and it frooze the heater core, or if the heater core just went bad. Any one know what the cause could be?
