SOURCE: BMW 5 series - 2005 model - resetting service & waring lights

the brake pad warning light is controlled by a sensor located in the front and rear brake pads, small contact with 2 wires that plud into a harness, if they are bad I think the replacement cost is around 5-10 dollars for a new one, there will only be one in the front and one in the rear, the service light is turned out by a special tool at the dealer

SOURCE: taking the front door panel off my 525 bmw

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

To make my front parking lights not in the plickers, but in the headlights, like you have to have in europe mechanic reprogrammed my computer. now its all working great but only one thing thecar thinks...

First, is the BMW a U.S. model or European model? I would recommend trying to find out what type of programming your mechanic actually did and you might have to go to BMW dealer and look at their wiring diagrams. BMW is very particular about their cars being worked on. You may need the actual BMW computers to help you out. Good luck.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
One trick to reset the indicator lamp is to remove the positive battery connector. Let it sit for at least 5mins. then reconnect it again. Hope this one works on your vehicle.

I replace brake lining on bmw 325xi 2006. How do I

Unfortunately, you have to have the service reset tool. Dealers and BMW mechanics have this tool, but i don't know whether they reset for free. i guess it depends on who you take it to.
