Poor battery connection or poor voltage output from alternator. many stock and rebuilt alternators for this model have defective voltage regulators. I have replaced 15 this year alone :)

Everytime i press my gas peddle my compass light gets dims ford windstar 2002

It may be a dying console (faulty electronics). Never heard of the compass dimming when you press the gas. Does it dim when you are in park and press the gas? If you give the console a gentle tap, does it brighten back up? Do other lights dim?

Power windows and locks dont work, lights on the dash are dimmed, could it be a blown fuse or ground fault?

yes and yes

fuses could be a problem but the door lock fuse is #12 under the hood

window fuse is #12 under the dash

the dimming of the dash lights sounds like a ground issue that ground 200 at the center of the dash behind the air bag module

let me ask...did all these problems start at the same time?

98 ford windstar no dash and tail lights

you have to check all fuses with a test light both fuse boxes under hood and under dash... if good next to look for is the light switch itself... has any radio work been done to the lately... if so alot of times hooked up wrong will blow park fuse as one of the wires to radio is the park voltage to tell radio to dim down some

2002 ford windstar lx front passenger window does not work. Checked fuse 106, not blown, what next?

Turn on interior lamps and watch lamps while working switch, if lamps dim and no noise is heard in door ( like crunching sound) you need to replace window motor, if noise is heard you have a failed window regulator.Lights do not dim you may have a bad switch. You can also try to hit in center of door panel to see if window will start working which also means bad motor. Hope this helps.

2004 Dodge Ram Pick up. The instrument lights for the fan controls -heating cooling are real dim. What does it to take to change these lamps out? Pulled the control knobs off but not sure what to do next.

The controls for fan speed, temp and air flow are contained in a self-contained control module attached to the center dash. To get to the lights, you have to remove the center dash unit (refer to the 1st diagram for removal).b5f7dfa.jpg Once the center dash is removed, turn it over and you will see three bulbs (you will actually see the base of the bulbs--refer to the 2nd attachment for illustration). d6d29c8.jpg
Simply remove the bulbs with a narrow blade, flat screwdriver. The Mopar Part Number for the bulbs is: 50138115AA. I paid about $2.25 for each bulb. Let me know if you need more info.
