hold the m button with the radio on it will display the serial # of the radio. call a bmw dealer and tell them you need a radio code looked up. tell them the serial number and they'll give you the code
Hi Cag. You can call your local BMW dealer and ask for the parts department. Alpine,and Blaupunkt,were the most common radio makers. The parts guys have a software program they can enter your radio serial number and retrieve a code.
After failing to enter the correct code in 3 successive tries, you must leave the key in the "ignition on" position with the radio on. This will allow you 3 more tries to reset the 5 digit code. If you enter an erroneous digit, you must complete the 5 digit code, even though it is wrong. You have 2 more attempts to enter the correct code. Charlie
