How do I take off the serpentine belt on my 2007 toyota rav 4 3.5 v6 sport

I just changed the serpentine belt on a 2003 Toyota RAV4. The 3/4 protrusion is the correct place to relieve the tension. A half inch drive socket ratchet and cheater bar is necessary to relieve the tesion on the belt. It is a pain in the *&^% to do. Also if the belt is not stretched you have to turn the alternater pulley with a #10 socket and ratchet while feeding the belt on. Two person job to do this. Hope this helps good luck!!!!

Its in the tank. The filter cost $200 from Toyota. You have to remove the fuel tank by looks of it. Whats wrong with an in line filter that you can reach. Other manufaturer manage it.

SOMETIMES THE DIAGRAM IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. OR ON THE WHEEL WELLS INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. CHECK UNDER THE HOOD ANYWHERE A STICKER COULD BE. IT MIGHT ALSO BE IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.
