Hi,
Fuel filter is under the car under a cover near the petrol tank,if you are a competent mechanic I will tell you how to test the fuel system otherwise take to a Bosch fuel injection specialist as these are a nightmare to test let me know as will take ages to type answer.

98olds cutlass seirra shutting down after warm up

Someone would need to check base fuel pressure with a gauge, and also for an exhaust restriction, when the engine warms up.
I am assuming the check engine light is not on when the engine is running.

Yes i have2002 saturnsl 1.9 i have replace fuel pump, fuel filter, temp. sensor it will run until the heat gauge reaches 1/4 and it just dies when cools back down starts up does it again.

the m.a.f. sensor and oxegen sensors start working when the engine get warmed up to normal and they adjust the air fuel mixure.

Car shuts down after 20 minutes of driving

a likely problem is a fuel pump going down...as it gets warm, it heats up the wiring inside and they expand causing a loss of connection inside the pump...As it cools, it comes back together and works again...when it dies out turn the key off and listen closely for the pump to hum when you turn the key on...If it doesn't wait for it to cool and then when you try again listen and if you hear it and it starts, that's your problem...fuel pumps will go bad quickly if you don't keep your tank at least a quarter to half full as the gas is what keeps it cool so it don't get too hot and melt the shellac on the wiring which will eventually short out...

1987 gmc jimmy wont start

yea you have no fuel and sound like a bad harness and the gm's are know for there fuel pump harness's! did you change it when you changed the pump? there is a lose connection somewhere in the fuel delivery system and it's pretty simply! i would check the fuel pump relay on the left hand side of the engine compartment and maybe even put power to the pump at the relay position "b" on the fuel pump relay harness and there should be a one pin connector to put power to also connected to the same position on the relay "b" the wire should be tan and white! good luck

Runs great first thing. After warmed up, runs very

Could be fuel pressure regulator, fuel injector, sensor, or gasket leak.

Turns over but wont stay running or idle

Sounds ike the fuel pump died. As they get old and your car is about that age the start to overheat after being in use for a while. They stop pushing out the fuel consistantly and then stop working all together. Sometimes letting them cool back down will allow you to use it for a short while before it dies again but in your case it sounds like it just gave out. Remember fuel in the tank helps cool the pump when in use.

Tis is a good place to start, good luck.
